Apply to the Future Healthcare Professionals program with the Meade County Public Library
The Summer 2023 FHP program, a health career exploration program will take place June 13-16 and June 20-23 from 1-2:30 pm EST. The in-person program will be held at the Meade County Library (996 Old Elkron Rd., Brandensburg, KY 40108).
Students will explore different areas of the healthcare field through experimentation, hands on activities, and guest speakers.

Students must commit to attending all sessions.

Students must be current high school students.

Registration is limited to 25 students.
- Measure vitals -- Blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, etc.
- Learn to suture
- Explore current medical dilemmas
- Create a public health campaign
- View laparoscopic surgery
- Learn how to intubate
- Meet with health professionals
- Explore a variety of health careers
