Article Quizzes

Taking Article Quizzes

Taking a Quiz over a Research Article: At four points during the semester, a student may choose to read articles or article synopses and take quizzes over the articles.  Students will earn 1 Study Board credit for each quiz that they attempt and an additional 1 Study Board credit for each quiz that earns 70% or more. The quizzes will be 10 multiple-choice questions. The student may have notes during the quiz, but may not have the article or synopsis. Students may not get help from other students during the test time and may not bring in any prepared material for use during the quiz. Cheating will be assessed according to University policy, and the Office of Student Life may be notified.

Students may sign up for the alternative assignment through the Study Board. The study name is Article Quizzes #1 (or 2, 3, etc.) - Alternative Assignment.

Materials: You only need to bring a #2 pencil to the scheduled place at the scheduled time and your WKU ID.

Articles: We will give you an article during the session. They will be research articles about psychological topics.

Quizzes: The quizzes will be composed of 10 multiple-choice questions. The quizzes may include factual questions as well as questions that require you to think critically about the article and topic. You may take up to 6 quizzes during a single session, but you may participate in many sessions.

Earning Credit: Students will earn 1 Study Board credit for each quiz that they attempt.
