Frequently Asked Questions


M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Move-In will take place August 17 & 18, 2026. 

Students are required to sign up for a move-in timeslot through the WKU Housing Portal.

You can register for M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan 24 hours after submitting your Housing Application.

Apply for Housing

  • Seven meals (regular meal plans begin that Friday)
  • A WKU t-shirt
  • Access to the Guidebook schedule
  • Class session materials 
  • Additional promo items 
  • Entrance to all special events & activities

Students participating in sorority recruitment are required to attend M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan.

Big Red Marching Band

Yes. M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan is a great time for transfer students to meet other students and transition to a new campus. 

WKU Transfer Center

Yes. All students who are new to WKU are encouraged to attend M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan. It is a great opportunity to meet other students and find places to connect on campus before classes start. 

M.A.ST.E.R. Plan is optional for most students, however, it is required for the following groups:

Big Red Blitz is WKU's largest community service event. By signing up, you will be a sign up for a location to volunteer, allowing you to connect with the Bowling Green community.

Big Red Blitz is not required but provides students with service hours early in the semester and t-shirt.
