The Office of University Marketing can provide consultations to WKU offices for their marketing planning and implementation. This includes plans for a multi-year marketing plan, marketing campaign for an event or program, digital marketing plan, or social media campaign. During a consultation, University Marketing staff will take the time to learn more about the marketing goals and needs for the project, and then prepare recommendations based on the meeting. Please plan for up to two weeks for University Marketing to provide recommendations to assist you with your marketing plan or campaign development.

Multi-year marketing plans may prove helpful for a new office or one undergoing a rebranding due to a name or mission change. A marketing campaign can assist your team with gaining exposure and participation for an event, launch of a new program, or similar activity. While social media plans may be incorporated into your marketing plans, you may choose a social media campaign to create or increase engagement around a specific topic.

Before you get too far along in your planning process, take a moment to consider the size and time that your team can contribute and the resources available to implement your potential plans. In addition, give some thought to your goals and the time frame to meet them.
