Block A section of requirements within the degree audit.
Exception A method for handling variations to any section of the audit for a student. Exceptions are most commonly used for course substitutions. All undergraduate exceptions must be approved by the student’s department head.

Undergraduate students with a catalog term of fall 2021 or later and graduate students with a catalog term of fall 2019 or later will use Degree Works as their degree audit system.
