What is Grad Fair?

Grad Fair is WKU's kickoff to the graduation celebration! While attendance is optional, it's a convenient opportunity to take care of many graduation-related tasks in one place. 

 

At Grad Fair, you can:

• Pick up your cap & gown (regalia) – Be sure to pre-order from Herff Jones to guarantee availability and sizing.
• Know where to go – Grab your line-up info card with your arrival time and check-in location for Commencement.
• Capture the moment – Take your professional graduation photo. (Dress in business attire or rock your cap & gown!)
• Mark your milestone – Order personalized announcements, class rings, diploma frames, and more from Herff Jones.

 

Cap & Gown Orders: 

Western Kentucky University is introducing customized Commencement regalia designed exclusively for Hilltoppers. To ensure a consistent and official Commencement experience, all graduates must order their regalia through WKU's approved vendor, Herff Jones.

Regalia purchased from other retailers or third-party vendors will not meet WKU's official design specifications and should not be worn during the Commencement ceremony.

 

Important Notes: 

• The Fall Grad Fair will only provide items for Fall 2026 graduates. A future Grad Fair will be held for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 graduates.

• Please remember to bring your WKU ID to Grad Fair if you have one. Students without a WKU ID do not need to obtain one to attend the event.

Can't attend the Fall Grad Fair?

If you're unable to attend—especially if you're graduating from a distance—you'll still be able to complete all required steps for graduation.

Graduates will need to submit an order for their regalia via the Herff Jones ordering site and pick up regalia at the WKU Store after the Grad Fair ends. Additional graduation-related items can also be ordered online. Direct shipping is available for an additional fee.
