The Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex (CEC) at WKU is committed to helping students of all ages, from early learners to college students, develop the skills they need to succeed. We focus on supporting individuals with autism and other neurodiversities through a variety of programs designed to improve communication, social skills, and overall quality of life.
The CEC is a place where families can find support and understanding as they navigate challenges that others may not fully recognize. Through partnerships with WKU academic programs and local organizations, we offer resources and services to help individuals reach their full potential.
Each year, the CEC serves hundreds of individuals and families, providing vital services for the community through a range of programs tailored to meet the needs of children, school-age kids, and college students. We invite you to explore our programs and become part of the CEC community.

Renshaw Early Childhood Center
The Renshaw Early Childhood Center advances development and learning for toddlers and preschoolers of all abilities, and gives future educators hands-on training alongside WKU academic programs.

The CEC relies on continued support to fund research in the fields of Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication disorders and developmental delays and disabilities and to provide services to families who are unable to pay.
