The A Stands for Art is a feature-length documentary and docu-series that explores Atlanta’s homegrown renaissance through intimate stories of artists, curators, and cultural organizers.

Filmed over several years, The A Stands for Art is both a feature-length documentary and docu-series, capturing Atlanta at a crossroads: a booming population, a flourishing art scene, and the tension between cultural heritage and gentrification. By tying Atlanta’s history of resistance to its present-day art boom, the project shows how creativity continues to fuel renewal.

Free tickets are available at https://capitolbg.org/. After the screening, a Q&A with filmmakers will be offered.
