Schedule a Tutoring Appointment


 

1. Log-in to TutorTrac with your NetID and NetID password (if you do not know your NetID or password, go to the IT Helpdesk)

2. Click on Search Availability

3. Select Center (for example, The Learning Center DSU 1082) to choose the location of your tutoring appointment

4. Select the Section (Course) you need assistance in

a. If you are in need to an online appointment, select the online option with the course. The tutor can arrange a video chat appointment.

5. Adjust the dates as needed. TutorTrac will automatically show you two weeks starting from the current date.

6. Click SEARCH

7. Find the day and time that work for your tutoring appointment - click on the time you would like your appointment to start

8. Add specific Notes about what you would like your tutor to help you with

9. Click Save

10. You should receive an email confirmation from tlc@wku.edu with your appointment day, time, and location

a. You may need to select Switch to Mobile Version, located in the upper right corner, if the full version loads

b. For non-iPhone users, Firefox is the recommended browser

2. Click on Search Availability

3. Select Center (for example, The Learning Center DSU 1082) to choose the location of your tutoring appointment

4. Select the Section (Course) you need assistance in

a. If you are in need to an online appointment, select the online option with the course (i.e. ENG 200 Online). The tutor can arrange a video chat appointment.

b. If you are simply enrolled in an online course, but still want your appointment to be in person, select the regular section (i.e. ENG 200).

5. Adjust the dates as needed. TutorTrac will automatically show you two weeks starting from the current date.

6. Click SEARCH

7. Find the day and time that work for your tutoring appointment - click on the time you would like your appointment to start

8. Add specific Notes about what you would like your tutor to help you with

9. Click Save

10. You should receive an email confirmation from tlc@wku.edu with your appointment day, time, and location

To cancel an upcoming appointment:

  • Log-in to TutorTrac with your NetID and NetID password (if you do not know your NetID or password, go to the IT Helpdesk)
  • Your upcoming appointments will be listed on the main page under Welcome (or on a mobile device/tablet, under the Welcome tab). Click on the X to cancel your appointment. You will be asked why you are cancelling to confirm the confirmation.

PLEASE NOTE: The Learning Center has a cancellation policy of no cancellations within 5 hours of the start of the appointment. If you are unable to make an appointment at the last minute, please notify TLC by emailing tlc@wku.edu or calling (270) 745-5065.

Reminders:

Searching by subject ensures that the tutor you are seeing has had the course you have selected. If you do not search by subject your tutoring appointment will be canceled.

If you cannot find a tutor for a course listed in TutorTrac, change the date range - our tutors get booked early and may be unavailable during the date range you have selected.

If the course you are looking for is not listed in TutorTrac we do not currently have a tutor for that course. Please email tlc@wku.edu to request that course be added.
