Academic Advising is required for all associate and baccalaureate degree-seeking students until graduation. Our
office advises all Exploratory/Generally Undecided students and helps these students
plan for their potential major.
The Career Development team helps WKU students and alumni reach their career and employment
goals through a variety of services and events, including career coaching, resume
review services, job fairs, and more.
The Student Development & Engagement unit includes resources for First Generation students (F1rstGen), Living Learning Communities (LLC), and the WKU Experience through Suitable.
The Student Athlete Success Center is the resource hub for WKU student-athletes to
obtain success academically and in life after sports.
As a WKU Online student, you will have access to support services designed specifically
for online learners. Balancing your education with work and other responsibilities
can be challenging, but your Student Support Specialist is always just a call or email
away.
Adult learners have access to advising and support services designed specifically for students returning to college. From admission through graduation, WKU provides guidance to help you navigate the process and stay on track toward completing your degree.
The Learning Center (TLC) offers free tutoring for undergraduate courses and academic
success skills. We promote academic excellence by helping students understand course
content, develop study skills, and gain confidence as self-directed learners.
The Dean of Students offers a variety of both academic and non-academic resources and services in support
of your success on the Hill. Topics include Dietary Needs, Emergency Housing, Health
& Wellness, Academic, Campus Safety, Student Activism, and more.
