Apply to the MS in Applied Behavior Analysis Program

Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 12 credit hours in education, psychology, or a related field, alongside a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Please arrange for your official transcripts to be sent directly to WKU. If you are completing your degree this semester, you may upload a current unofficial transcript now; however, your final, degree-conferring transcript must be submitted after graduation and received at least one month prior to the start of your first semester.

Please prepare a 1-page personal statement outlining your professional interests, career goals, and expectations from participation in the program.

Submit a current resume that includes a reference list of 3 individuals (with their title, phone, and email) who can speak to your academic and professional readiness. Program faculty may contact these references during the review process.

A background check is required for enrollment. Unlike other programs, the background check for the M.S. in ABA program is completed after applications are processed. Eligible candidates will receive notification and detailed instructions on how to complete the background check once applications have been initially reviewed.

After completed applications are processed with all components, students will receive notification to schedule their interview. Following the interview, ABA program faculty will send notification of either acceptance or rejection following scoring.
