The John B. Gaines Family Lecture Series brings leaders in national and international
journalism to WKU. It began in 2004 to commemorate 150 years of the Gaines’ ownership
of the Bowling Green Daily News.
The Kentucky High School Media Institute hosts annual contests, conferences and workshops
for high school journalists and students interested in pursuing further education
or careers in media.
