Research Interests

My research interests are decidedly behavioral. I am especially interested in behavioral approaches to assessment and interventions for socially meaningful behaviors. Regarding assessment, I am interested in (a) functional behavioral assessment (FBA) in the schools, (b) functional analysis, and (c) brief experimental analysis. Additionally, I am interested in primary and secondary interventions including (a) behavioral parent training, (b) academic interventions, (c) group and individual classroom behavior management, and (d) issues related to treatment fidelity and adherence. In addition to my primary agenda, I am interested in the presence of pseudoscience in school psychology, including broad perceptions, training, and individual investigations of pseudoscientific practices.

Research Supervision

I am willing to serve as director or serve on a committee for any of these types of projects: Psy 290, Psy 490, Honors, MA theses, Ed.S. Specialist Projects, Psy.D. Dissertations.
