Princeton in Asia (PiA) provides transformative, service-oriented experiences for talented graduates. Over the last century, the organization has achieved this goal by providing talented young people with various opportunities to live and work in Asia. In 2010, PiA placed 165 fellows in eighteen countries, including Cambodia, China/Hong Kong, Timor-Leste, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Laos, Mongolia, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Currently the program offers primarily teaching fellowships with additional fellowships in the fields of journalism, international development, and business.

Lifetime Experience Grants of up to $3000 are intended to help students become more competitive for national scholarships by supporting high-impact educational activities, including engagement in undergraduate research or creative activities, diversity and global learning, service or community-based learning, and internships or other forms of experiential learning

November 1 is the first deadline after which applications will be reviewed. OSD will review and award LTE applications monthly until funding has been exhausted.
