Dr. Grimsley-Smith will lead a general information session about Fulbright U.S. Student grants.  You can learn what you can do with a Fulbright grant, how to apply, and what makes a competitive application.

Are you interested in teaching English and sharing American culture abroad?  Dr. Grimsley-Smith will discuss how to apply for a Fulbright U.S. Student English Teaching Assistantship and what to consider as you explore opportunities.

Did you know you can earn a one- or two-year master’s degree abroad with a Fulbright U.S. Student grant? Alternatively, you can design your own research or creative project to conduct abroad! Dr. Grimsley-Smith will discuss things to consider and how to apply.

The bulk of the Fulbright U.S. Student grant application is two essays: a personal statement and a statement of grant purpose.  Dr. Grimsley-Smith will share, do’s, don’ts, and general tips specific to the Fulbright application.
