Workplace Health Promotion


The 15 credit hour Graduate Certificate Program in Workplace Health Promotion offered through the WKU Department of Public Health will provide a comprehensive skill base for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs in a workplace environment, effective communication techniques and a basic understanding of workplace hazards. This certificate will also introduce students to the Total Worker Health concept, which is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) initiative to integrate health promotion and health protection.
