How to Apply as a Graduate Student

1.

Review Requirements

Admission to Graduate Studies requires submission of official transcripts with a bachelor's degree GPA of at least a 2.75 or greater from an accredited institution. Requirements vary by program. They generally include transcripts from all intuitions attended, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. You may also need to submit test scores and/or a resume. It is imperative that you check with the program about what is required for admission.

Apply to WKU

Follow the steps to apply for a Graduate Program which include:  

  • Upload your required admission documents 
  • Pay the application fee of $65 

You can save and come back to your application if you don’t finish it in one sitting. After you submit your application, you can log back in to see a list of admission documents and upload any you are missing.

Check Your Application Status

After you've submitted your application, log in to the Application Portal to view your application status, view missing items, and review next steps towards enrolling.

Complete Additional Requirements

Some programs have additional requirements. For example, some require you to apply directly to the program after you’re admitted to WKU. Check the webpage for your program to learn about additional requirements.
