This state requires applicants pursuing licensure must have successfully completed an educational program in the practice of dental hygiene of at least two academic years at an institution recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association (ADA) at the time the applicant graduated. WKU’s Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene is a four year program and is accredited by CODA.

Additional requirements for state licensure may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results.
