This state requires applicants pursuing RN licensure to have graduated from a nursing education program approved by the state in which the program is located.  WKU's Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program is approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.  Therefore, graduates of WKU's ASN Program meet the educational requirements for RN licensure in this state.

Additional requirements for state licensure may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results.
