Information

We consider our student employees an integral and valued part of the staffing pattern of WKU Libraries. Student positions in the libraries offer various opportunities and responsibilities including, but not limited to, clerical, mail processing, book repair, research, assisting patrons, security, stacks, and computer assistance.

Office hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Application

Student applications for employment in all library locations may be filled out and submitted online. For further information concerning employment in the library, access the Library Student Assistant Orientation for expectations, general rules and regulations.

Employment Requirements

Students employed in the libraries must be approved to work through the Financial Assistance Office and have a recent Free Application For Federal Student Aid on file. International students should visit the Office of International Programs for further information.
