All WKU students, faculty, and staff are issued a WKU ID Card.

Only one active WKU ID Card can be in your possession at a time.

When & Where to Get Your ID Card

New Students

WKU ID Cards are issued to new students during TOP (Topper Orientation Program).

 

Bowling Green Campus Students & Staff 

Cards for registered students and faculty/staff members on the WKU Bowling Green campus are issued through the WKU ID Center in Downing Student Union Room 2125, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.

 

Elizabethtown-Fort Knox, Glasgow, Owensboro, Somerset Campuses & Online Students & Staff

Students attending Elizabethtown-Fort Knox, Glasgow, Owensboro, or online courses may choose to have their WKU ID card made at the campus location nearest them.

 

Cost

Your first WKU ID card is FREE. 

Replacement cards may be purchased for $25.

Lost or Stolen Cards

Reporting your card as lost or stolen will deactivate your card and protect your accounts and building access across campus.

Damaged Cards 

If your WKU ID Card has been damaged due to normal wear and tear, bring the card (all remaining pieces, if broken), and you will receive a free replacement ID for those with regular student or faculty/staff IDs. This does not include those that have a door access card (proximity card).

If your card has been cut, hole-punched, or has suffers from any visible misuse (determined by the ID Center staff), a replacement can be purchased for $25.
