Speaker
Ross Metusalemis an Academic Ambassador for JMP, where he helps university statistics instructors get more out of JMP in their teaching. Ross previously worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Pearson, a UK-based multinational education company, where he conducted research on student learning and motivation. He also has taught statistics and experimental design to undergraduate psychology students and has worked as a consultant at a university teaching center. Metusalem holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego.

JMP is powerful, interactive point-and-click data analysis software for Mac and Windows, and it’s designed to make statistics accessible and engaging to any researcher, teacher, or student in any discipline.
This webinar represents the first step in learning if JMP is the right tool for your
research or teaching. We’ll review JMP’s end-to-end capabilities, from importing and cleaning data, through exploratory visualization, experimental
design, statistical analysis, and saving and sharing results. Because WKU has a license
for JMP Pro, we’ll review some advanced capabilities for researchers, and because JMP is widely used for teaching statistics, we’ll also
review the wealth of free teaching resources JMP makes available to instructors.
Workshop prerequisite: After registering for this workshop, follow the instructions to install the JMP Pro application.
