Facility and event management is a rapidly growing field with numerous professional organizations offering their members trainings and certifications in crowd control, accessibility, risk management, emergency action planning, green design and sustainability, and much more. The 100% online Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Administration with a concentration in Facility and Event Management is designed to prepare recreation and sport professionals with qualifications and skills to do just that.

The program focuses on enhancing students’ knowledge and competencies in areas necessary for a successful career trajectory in venue management, which includes topics such as administration, financial practices, marketing, safety and security.
