In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the LifeSkills Center for Child Welfare Education and Research at WKU will host the 2026 Child Welfare Expo on April 2, 2026, from 5:00–7:30 PM CST at the WKU Knicely Conference Center.

Area high school students from across the region participated in the Pathways to Smiles Oral Health Careers Camp—an immersive two-day experience hosted by the South Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC). Held October 9–10 at WKU.
