Interview Facilities

The Advising and Career Development Center is located in the Downing Student Union, Room 2001. We offer each employer a private room for conducting interviews. The interview space is equipped with wireless Internet access, office supplies, and various amenities. There is a student waiting where students wait comfortably until they are called by you.

For your convenience, there is a recruiter lounge located near the interview offices. This space is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, Keurig coffee maker, tables, sink, and other items you might find in your own kitchen. Please feel free to use this space while you are visiting with us.

Interview Schedules

When you arrive on the day of your on-campus interviews, we will provide you with your interview packet for the day. Normally, interviews are conducted between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Central Time. Interviews are in 30 minutes intervals, but interview times can be adjusted. The interview schedule that we provide lists the name and corresponding time of each person to be interviewed. A copy of each person's resume will be included in your packet. If we do not have a student's resume on file, we anticipate that the student will give you a copy at the time of the interview.

Evaluation of the On-Campus Recruiting Program

When you pick up your interview packet on the day of your visit, you will find an evaluation form with the other materials. We ask that you complete this at the end of your day and return it to our office before leaving campus. This provides us with valuable feedback and suggestions on how we can improve the services we offer to recruiters.

Employer Spotlights

We promote Employer Spotlights which allows you to meet students in a more casual setting compared to the large career fairs. The spotlights are available to reserve for Tuesdays from 6-7pm, and only one company will attend each Employer Spotlight, allowing you to meet qualified students and tell them about your company.

Employer Spotlights are on a first come first served basis. If interested, please email CareerHelp@wku.edu for more details.

Tabling

Employers have an opportunity to table on-campus to interact with students for recruiting purposes. This is a chance for students to learn more about the company's job opportunities. Table reservations must be approved and made through the Employer Relations Team.

Driving and Parking Directions

Recruiters who wish to visit the WKU Advising and Career Development Center (ACDC) and learn about our services are encouraged to phone ahead (270-745-3095) to make parking arrangements.
Parking Permit information will be emailed to you in advance of your interview date.
Use 1605 Avenue of Champions, Bowling Green, KY 42101 for driving directions to the Diddle South Parking Lot.
