Department of Art & Design Staff

Jessica Lambert is an artist and educator. Here work explores sports, competition, and the human body through sculpture and performance art. Influenced by her experiences as a former D1 college athlete and as a fan of sport, her work invites viewers to think about the rituals, practices, and routines of athletes as a metaphor for the discipline and endurance needed in everyday life. Lambert’s work has been exhibited at venues including the Bradbury Art Museum, Historic Arkansas Museum, and Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts. She was a resident at Vermont Studio Center, Farwell House, and Live/Work Artist in Residence at Charles Adams Studio Project.
