AHS Department Showcase 2019
The AHS department held an event entitled "Picture This" on February 27 that showcased the department majors, Family and Consumer Sciences, Hospitality Management and Dietetics, and Interior Design and Fashion Merchandising through a food and fashion show.
The event was held at Indian Hills Country Club with approximately 150 family, friends, department supporters and industry professionals in attendance. Fashion Merchandising students planned and coordinated the fashion show with WKU students, along with children, modeling career fashions for the workplace.
Hospitality Management and Dietetics students and faculty planned, prepared, presented and served a variety of hors d'oeuvres, meat and fruit trays, and desserts to highlight the skills and knowledge they have gained as majors in the department.
