Form Submissions & Emails

After a form is launched and published to a page, all submissions are stored and accessible from the CMS. Open the Submissions tab of a form to view collected responses.

Submissions are grouped by the version of the form that was active when the user submitted it. Submission details include the date of the submission, field labels used in the form, and Submitted From showing where the form was used.

Every submission also has a More Actions menu with a View option, allowing you to open an individual detail view, making it easier to review long responses or locate file uploads. From here, you can also Delete submissions.

Please Note: For access to view submissions, users must complete training and have access to the site group that owns the form.

Emails

There are two different types of emails notifications that a form can send. These are configured in the Form Settings. Emails no longer include form submissions results. Users must complete training to view form submissions.

Set-Up Email Notifications

Internal Emails

If internal email notifications are enabled, submission alerts will be sent to your configured recipients when someone submits the form.

Enable the internal email then enter one or more emails separated by a comma to receive the email notification.

These notifications do not include form values, but contain a direct link to the form’s Submissions tab in the CMS.

External Emails

External Email sends an email to the person who filled out the form.

For this to work you must have at least one email type field in the form and selected in External Email.

Enable external emails and choose the field from your form that collects the submitter’s email address.

Download Submissions

Form submissions can be exported to share with stakeholders who may not have access to the CMS.

Click Export this version as CSV from the Submissions view to download results.
