Talley Family Counseling Center logo

The Talley Family Counseling Center (TFCC) is a training center for master’s students in the counseling programs in the department of Counseling and Student Affairs in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. The TFCC is located on the first floor in Gary A. Ransdell Hall at Western Kentucky University. Counseling services are provided by specially selected advanced master’s degree students under the supervision of Counseling and Student Affairs faculty. Services are provided free of charge to students at Western Kentucky University and community members.

With an emphasis on diversity, TFCC empowers all practicum and intern students while providing challenging opportunities for students to reach their full potential. Training opportunities are held regularly to promote knowledge and application of effective counseling theories, therapeutic interventions, and techniques. The TFCC mission and clinic experiences are designed to support WKU’s mission, which “prepares students of all backgrounds to be productive, engaged, and socially responsible citizen-leaders of a global society. The University provides research, service and lifelong learning opportunities for its students, faculty, and other constituents. WKU enriches the quality of life for those within its reach.”
