The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies requires a total of 120 credit hours and is designed to be completed in eight semesters/four years of full-time enrollment. No minor is required.

 

WKU Paralegal Studies courses are offered in a variety of delivery formats that cater to your needs. Courses are offered face-to-face in Bowling Green and at each of our regional campus locations. We also offer courses online, as interactive television courses (IVS), and as hybrid courses (a mix of face-to-face and online).

Paralegals, also called legal assistants, work in a wide range of professional settings and are an integral part of the legal team. Under the direct supervision of attorneys, paralegals perform legal research, legal writing, litigation management & support, and legal technology support.
