Two New Training Programs Offered in Fort Knox

WKU Career and Workforce Development is pleased to offer training for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam and the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Exam. Both courses will be held in the Fort Knox Education Building on Monday evenings.
The CAPM® Exam is offered by Project Management Institute (PMI) to those beginning a career in project management, or those who wish to add project management skills to their current role. The exam preparation series includes six four-hour training sessions, the textbook, and all additional training materials. This training satisfies the exam prerequisite for twenty-three hours of project management training. Courses are held on Monday nights at 5 p.m. EST beginning in July. Six Sigma is a data-driven approach to improving the quality of business processes. A Six Sigma Green Belt is the foundational level of the Six Sigma quality improvement system. Green Belt training explores the DMAIC process (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control) which is uniquely suited to improve existing business processes. The exam preparation series includes six four- hour training sessions, the textbook, sample exams, and additional study materials. Courses are held on Monday nights at 5 p.m. EST beginning in September. For more information, visit wku.edu/learn/six-sigma.
More information will be available at the upcoming Education Fairs on Friday, May 10 and Tuesday, June 4. The Education Fairs will be held in the Human Resource Center, Fort Knox, Building 2 (Lobby) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST.
