About Rafi

Rafi is an international student from Bangladesh who is pursuing his MS degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics in the departments of Mathematics at Western Kentucky University. He is currently employed as a Teaching Assistant at that department in which he leads recitation class of ‘Calculus I & II’.

Rafi completed his graduation from the University of Dhaka which is the topmost university in Bangladesh. His major was Mathematics. From his freshmen year, he was involved in social and volunteer work such as donating blood, teaching homeless children, etc.

Rafi’s research interest lies in the field of control theory. Also, he is learning and implementing machine learning on big data. He is aiming to pursue his Ph.D. degree after graduating from here.
