About Morgan

Morgan DuBose is an Industrial-Organizational Psychology masters candidate at Western Kentucky University. She is currently a Teaching Assistant for Behavioral Neuroscience and has worked as a TA for Social Psychology, Psychology in Science Fiction, and Research Methods. She is also a Research Assistant in the Big Data Lab. Her particular interest in I-O Psychology is on the development and delivery of effective training programs, particularly for new employees. She is also interested in the selection and retention of new employees.

Morgan received her Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science from WKU. She concentrated in Applied Psychology and Clinical Psychology. While studying, she worked for the department of Housing and Residence Life and in her final year was responsible for interviewing, selecting, and training new employees to work a 24-hour service desk in two residence hall buildings. Prior to beginning university, she taught swim lessons. These combined experiences cultivated her interest in training and development.

After graduation, Morgan would like to work in a setting that allows her to combine her interests in Clinical and I-O Psychology by creating, updating, and supervising trainings for newly hired mental health workers. Her work with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health's Lexington County Community Mental Health Center provided an opportunity to reinforce this.
