About DJ

DJ Kochhar is a second year I-O psychology major at Western Kentucky University and is currently a Research and Teaching Assistant. As a Research Assistant, DJ works in Big Data Lab, specifically conducting research on leadership styles and their implications. As a Teaching Assistant, DJ has experience working with “social psychology” classes at WKU which focus on how individuals interact with others in the world around them.

DJ graduated with a bachelor’s of science in psychology from James Madison University, which is in Harrisonburg, VA. During his time at James Madison University, DJ participated in labs that focused on leadership research, specifically looking at leadership-subordinate interactions.

DJ’s research interest includes the continuation of research in the field of leadership and the use of machine learning in the talent acquisition processes of large organizations. After graduation, DJ aims to work as an in-house organizational development consultant, eventually wanting to become a  contracted organization development psychologist.
