About Alexander

Alexander Davy is a graduate student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology program at Western Kentucky University. He has been a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Psychology and Cognitive Psychology classes in addition to working in the Big Data Lab. He developed an interest in I/O Psychology and seeks to learn more about the relationship between employer and employee, as well as how research in this concentration can be used during moments of crisis within organizations.

Alexander graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Spanish. During his time at the University of Texas at Arlington, he worked for TRIO Pre-College Programs, a government-subsidized program aimed at aiding high-risk high school students with getting into and succeeding at university.

Alexander’s most recent work includes conducting research on expatriate effectiveness and redefining what measures are used to decide it, as well as working on a consultation assignment for the university. After receiving his masters, he hopes to start a career at the United States Food and Drug Administration or a pharmaceutical company. When he is not working on lab maintenance and lab projects, he enjoys listening to podcasts and working on cars.
