SCHOOL PROGRAM REQUEST FORM


 

This form is *not* for university division events nor for private use or shows. If either of those are your event, please return to the Private Shows page by using link above in the main menu and try the proper sub-section.

After you fill out form the below and submit it, we will contact you via email. This form does not act as a formal transaction, so there is no charge; this is a means of communicating to us your request.

Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.

SCHOOL TRIP REMINDERS

 

Field trips are scheduled weekdays during school hours. Performance times outside regular hours are available upon request for a nominal charge.


In addition to the Star Chamber presentations, the Planetarium features a ring of museum exhibits about astronomy and space science. Schools may choose to come early or stay after the main presentation in order to engage with the exhibits in the Ring Hall.

 

We limit the size of student audiences to a maximum of 40. To bring more than 40 students, we can work with you to split your group into sub-groups of 40 with one sub-group in the Planetarium while other sub-groups are busy at an alternate campus venue within walking distance. Then, after the initial 45 minutes, all groups can rotate to the next activity.


If you have extenuating circumstances which will not allow you to adhere to our attendance requirements, please contact us to discuss your unique situation.
