PRIVATE EVENT REQUEST FORM
This form is *not* for university division events nor for school field trips. If either of those are your event, please either use the School Program link above or return to the Private Shows page and try the proper sub-section.
After you fill out form the below and submit it, we will contact you via email. This form does not act as a formal transaction; rather we will email you any fee information. This is a means of communicating to us your request.
Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
If your event includes a planetarium show, you can follow the below link (creates a new window) and read descriptions of each show.
This is the circular room where the planetarium presentations take place. If you want to see a planetarium show, or otherwise want to use the space for any reason, you can select this option below.
The Ring Hall is the exhibit space that you can see from outside, and it circles the building. For private events, this space can double as a place for food and drinks, and socializing.

The event type generally does not affect the price; it just helps us prepare.
Descriptions of all of the shows can be found on the Public Shows link in the top menu.
Fee statements will be emailed after you submit the form. The below will help you estimate.
Just watch a show:
Regular business hours: $60 for 45 min
Outside regular hours: $90 for 45 min
Custom-designed show: will quote via email
All other event types:
Use of building, chairs, etc: $100 for 1 hr 45
min, +$40 ea. 30 min after
Add a Star Chamber show: +$90 for 45 min
