Biography
Dr. Md Ochiuddin Miah is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Western Kentucky University. His research focuses on developing intelligent, human-centered technologies that support education, collaboration, rehabilitation, and real-world decision-making.
His work investigates how human personality, intention, and multimodal behaviors, including gaze, gestures, speech, and interaction patterns, can improve the efficiency, personalization, and naturalness of Human-AI Interaction. He is particularly interested in designing Human-AI Interaction systems that use artificial intelligence, deep learning, large language models, AR/VR, and multimodal computing to support learning, collaboration, and educational technologies.
