Logan County Programs

WKU Continuing and Professional Development, in partnership with the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, has developed training programs to fit the needs of adult learners in Logan County. Course formats are available in face-to-face classroom settings, as well as online offerings to meet the needs of our community.

This program trains students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical responsibilities of a medical office. Instruction includes preparing patients for examination and treatment, routine lab procedures, diagnostic testing, technical aspects of phlebotomy and the cardiac life cycle.
