Potter College Creative Arts Scholarship for Visual Arts

Please follow the steps below to apply for the Potter College Creative Arts Scholarship (CAS) in Visual Arts:

Step 1: Apply and be accepted to WKU by January 15th.

The WKU online application can be found here. Please keep in mind that WKU must also receive your official high school transcripts by January 15th as part of this process. If already complete please proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Complete the TopDollar application by February 1st.

Every applicant must complete the TopDollar scholarship application found here. This is in addition to the steps below. If already complete please proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Complete the Creative Arts Scholarship for Visual Arts application by January 15th.

This is a separate application that you must complete in addition to the WKU Admissions, TopDollar, or financial aid applications. This application is for those interested in Visual Arts only. Apply Here.

Step 4: Submit portfolio material by January 15th.

Applicants who want to be considered should provide a link in the space below to their portfolio materials to include: Cover letter, including personal artist statement (two-page maximum); resume; letter of recommendation; portfolio of 8-10 digital images displaying works in a variety of mediums and subjects. These materials should be in the form of any free Cloud-based file systems, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft One Drive. Provide link within the application form.

In the event that an applicant is unable to provide these materials via a Cloud-based system, the department will accept mailed materials postmarked no later than January 15th. Send to: CAS Application, Department of Art, Room 441 IWFAC, WKU Bowling Green, KY 42101.
