Staff Senate is proud to offer Hilltoppers Connect, a mentor/mentee program created by staff, for staff. Building on the purpose of Project Mentorship, the program connects newly hired employees with experienced staff members across WKU to build professional relationships, share institutional knowledge, and encourage professional development.

Our Mission:

Hilltoppers Connect strengthens the WKU staff community by helping new employees feel welcomed, connected, and supported as they become familiar with the University. These relationships support our shared commitment to providing the best possible experience for students, faculty, and staff.

How the Program Supports the Staff Senate Mission
The program enhances the productivity and employment experience of WKU staff by creating opportunities to:

• Build relationships beyond an employee’s immediate department.
• Learn about campus resources, offices, and University structure.
• Share knowledge, experiences, and helpful information.
• Discover professional development opportunities and campus activities.
