Hannah Martin, Outstanding Citizenship & Social Justice Minor

"My time at WKU has been nothing short of exceptional, and I would like to thank the WKU staff and faculty for all of the support that they have given me in my time as a student here. I have had the privilege of majoring in Psychological Science and Political Science, with a minor in Citizenship and Social Justice. I was able to study abroad twice, spending the summer of 2018 in Florence, Italy and the fall of 2019 in Granada, Spain. I have served as the President of the Women's Club Soccer Team, the Lead Undergraduate Researcher in the WKU Social-Development Psychology Lab, and as a tour guide for the WKU Office of Admissions. I have been a member of the WKU Honors College, and served as an ambassador for the WKU Department of Psychological Sciences. I am so grateful to the CCSJ minor for all of the information it has given me to fuel my future in public service. After taking a gap year, I will be attending the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in their Master in Sustainable Peacebuilding program, where I will continue building on the foundation that I have been building in WKU's CCSJ coursework."
