Linda Dillard, with WKU Financial Aid, works closely with parents and students to outline a plan for paying for school.  Linda will assist in navigating the financial aid process, helping to fill out the correct forms, providing the needed documents and apprising you of any changes to existing resources. In addition to finding financial aid resources, she can inform students on loan repayment procedures.  You do not need to make an appointment to meet with Linda please stop by our office or call 270.706.8870 to speak with Linda for your financial needs.

Jeremy can serve current students and alumni with their professional development needs including job search tasks (writing resumes, cover letters, interviewing, dressing for the world of work) and choosing a career path (also known as choosing a major, but it goes the other way around… identify careers first, then match the best major!).

A frequent guest of OAWAC, Dr. Brian Strow is a graduate of Wheaton College (IL) and earned his Ph.D. in Economics at Vanderbilt University.  Since the fall of 1999, he has taught Economics at Western Kentucky University, where he has won both the Teaching and Public Service awards for the Gordon Ford College of Business.  

Dr. Strow has published in the areas of economic history, macroeconomics, labor economics, economic education, and morality and public policy.  He regularly appears in local, state, and national media regarding public policy and has been an economic advisor to candidates for statewide and federal offices.  

He is a member of the Board of Scholars for the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions.  Dr. Strow runs and writes articles for the WKU BB&T Center for the Study of Capitalism, and served two terms on the Bowling Green, Kentucky City Commission from 2005-2008.
