Caden J. Lucas is a senior from Harned, Kentucky, majoring in Political Science and Legal Studies. A proud fourth-generation Hilltopper, Caden first came to WKU as a student at the Carol Martin Gatton Academy before continuing his undergraduate career on the Hill. He currently serves as Student Body President, after previously serving in several roles within the Student Government Association. Outside of SGA, Caden is the founder of the WKU Civic Engagement Resource Center and the Hilltoppers Vote Coalition. He also helped co-found the Downtown Ambassadors Academy in partnership with the City of Bowling Green. After graduation, Caden hopes to continue working in public service and civic engagement, particularly in ways that strengthen communities across Kentucky. In his free time, he enjoys traveling America's backroads, exploring small towns and rural communities, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Hilltoppers whenever he gets the chance.
