Andi Dahmer, a native of Fisherville, Kentucky, graduated as Valedictorian and Senior Class President from duPont Manual High School in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, International Affairs, Spanish, and Asian Religions & Cultures. She is also a participant in the Chinese Language Flagship Program at WKU.
A passionate language-learner and advocate for educational travel, Andi has studied abroad in six countries while at WKU. She is also pursuing a thesis regarding the diplomatic recognition of Taiwan as it relates to Central America.
In addition to being President of WKU Student Government Association, Andi is a member of the Hilltopper Organization of Latin American Students (HOLAS), Omega Phi Alpha: National Service Sorority, and the co-founder of the WKU chapter of ONE Campus.
Her passions include working with and advocating for the international and minority student communities on campus. As student body president, her goals include retention and inclusion efforts. Andi is grateful to WKU for the many opportunities it has given her and the international foundation is has provided for her future endeavors. Her term on the board ends in 2018.
