I am excited about empowering students, staff, and faculty to achieve their personal and professional goals to advance the field of Psychological Sciences. I enjoy training and mentoring people on topics such as preparing for graduate school and beyond, writing grant applications and manuscripts, performing statistical analyses, preparing conference presentations, and managing projects. I am happy to meet with Psychological Sciences majors to discuss their goals and future career plans - please email me at jennifer.stewart@wku.edu to set up a time to chat.
My research has focused on identifying self-report, behavior, and brain markers of risk for and resilience from major depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, using neuroscience methods including electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). I have also collaborated with faculty and students on eating disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder research. Publications: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=kfE9FzgAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao
