Joseph Bilotta Graduate Scholarship
Dr. Joseph Bilotta was an experimental psychologist and a member of WKU's Psychology Department from 1991 until his death in 2006. Upon his death, a scholarship in his memory was established by his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Lemerise who is a faculty member in the Department of Psychological Sciences. Joe was an outstanding teacher, a well respected researcher, and dedicated mentor for his students. Contributions to this scholarship fund have been made by Dr. Bilotta's colleagues, former students, family, and friends. Through their generosity, this scholarship can now be awarded.
The Bilotta scholarship is open to all incoming graduate students; Kentucky residency is not required. The Department of Psychological Sciences Scholarship Committee will consider both academic merit and financial need in determining who receives the scholarship. Students who are admitted to the program will be mailed forms. Please take the time to provide relevant information on the application forms for the committee to consider in making this important decision.
