Physical Therapy Faculty

Dr. Tolbert graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville. She has been practicing physical therapy, local to Bowling Green, since 2012. She has primarily worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, as well as some time in an in-patient hospital setting. With most of her interest in musculoskeletal dysfunctions and chronic pain, she became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2016 and a Therapeutic Pain Specialist in 2017. As a practicing clinician, she served as Clinical Instructor to physical therapy students and Clinic Director. She taught as adjunct faculty for one year prior to becoming full time. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the Orthopedic Section, as well as the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Tolbert’s research interests include pain neuroscience, dry needling, running, and education.
