Professional Selling
Bachelor of Science in Marketing - Professional Selling Concentration
As part of the Center for Professional Selling, one of the few certified centers in the United States, this track prepares students for careers in face-paced and lucrative corporate sales positions. Tremendous networking opportunities are made through engagement with internships, guest speakers and in national sales competitions.
Courses needed to complete the Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing (beyond admission requirements and core courses) include:
Marketing Core (required of all Marketing majors):
- MKT 321 Consumer Behavior
- MKT 325 Personal Selling
- MKT 421 Marketing Research
- MKT 422 Marketing Management
- MGT 361 Business Writing OR
ENG 306 Business Writing
Professional Selling track:
- MKT 329 - Business to Business Marketing
- MKT 424 - Sales Force Management
- MKT 425 - Advanced Personal Selling
- MKT Elective - Any Marketing course not included elsewhere in the major degree program
- PROF Elective - Any 300 or 400 level College of Business course not included elsewhere in the major degree program
