WKU BROADCASTERS FINALISTS FOR STATE AP AWARDS

WKU student and professional broadcasters are finalists for 2013 Kentucky Associated Press Broadcasters Awards.

In the college division, WKU NewsChannel 12 finalists include: T.J. Parker of Glen Ellyn, Ill., for Best TV Feature Story, Best TV Public Affairs and Best TV News Story; Jason L. Martinof Bowling Green for Best TV Sports Coverage; and Jordan Morton of Jasper, Ind., for Best TV Newscast.

In the radio–non-commercial division, WKYU-FM finalists include: Lisa Autry for Best Hard News Feature and Best Public Affairs; Joe Corcoran for Best Sports Reporting; Kevin Willis for Best Sports Reporting and Best Special – Series/Documentary; Dan Modlin for Best Public Affairs and Best Enterprise/Investigative Reporting; and WKYU-FM staff for Best Website and Best Newscast.

The awards will be presented April 6 at the Galt House in Louisville.
